Responsibilities

A. Financial Analysis

  1. Review submissions from each department and overseas subsidiary, include but not limited to order booking, sales, inventory, A/R, P/L, B/S, cash flow etc.
  2. Prepare and analyse management reports, including budget vs actuals analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  3. Assist in consolidation of accounts and preparation for group Reporting Package.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and subsidiaries to develop annual budget and half-yearly budget review.
  5. Support the set-up of group financial policies and the subsequent implementation and governance.


B. Cash, FOREX and Treasury Management

  1. Perform cash flow planning and forecast for the regional headquarter.
  2. Support banking activities such as fund transfers, FX transactions and other banking services.
  3. Update monthly exchange rates and assist in FX hedging projects.
  4. Support treasury operations including cash pooling, intercompany loans, liquidity planning and working capital analysis etc.


C. Credit Management

  1. Prepare Accounts Receivable reports for management and other divisions/departments.
  2. Organise bi-monthly Accounts Receivable meeting, follow-up on outstanding receivables and coordinate collection efforts proactively.
  3. Maintain credit policy and assess creditworthiness of customers/distributors in coordination with sales and legal departments.
  4. Provide financial information for credit application to suppliers.


Requirements

  1. Degree or professional certificate in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, auditing, or other related fields.
  3. Strong working knowledge of financial modeling using software such as Excel, Power BI etc.
  4. Good understanding of financial principles and cash flow dynamics.
  5. Having initiative and good communication skills in order to work with various departments and overseas subsidiaries.
  6. Being attentive, meticulous, neat and organised.
  7. Positive working attitude.
