Position Summary
The successful candidate will lead their team in the financial success of the branch and HUB. Delivering exceptional client experience and sales excellence, through training, coaching, mentoring and motivating employees.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Branch Leadership team, work towards the development of a high performing and engaged team
- Build positive client, and employee relationships
- Support, coach and train employees
- Resident Technical and Process expert for the branch
- Conduct professional performance reviews with direct reports with assistance of AVP
- Maximize resources through effective scheduling
- Ensure compliance with all insurers (ICBC, Family etc.), Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations
- Manage sales, retention and service needs of clients, balancing between Insurance Advisor and Supervisor duties as appropriate
- Ensure control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documents and funds
- Lead the continuous improvement, organization and efficiency of the branch
- Handle and resolve client and dealership concerns in a positive proactive fashion
- Ensure employees are connected to the mission, values and goals of HUB
- Perform Insurance Advisor duties when necessary
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed
- Maintain dealership relationships
- Level 2 General Insurance License
- Ability to work collaboratively with direct reports, colleagues and front line talent to create a results driven and team oriented environment
- 4+ years of experience in the Insurance Industry
- Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of internal and external clients
- Passion and firm understanding of business and financials
- Ability to plan and manage at the operational, branch level
- Strong organizational skills
