Full Stack Engineer

Backend / Fullstack Engineer (Mid to Lead) | Munich | Flexible comp + equity

Early-stage AI company in Munich building a product already in use with a growing base of paying customers. Strong early traction, consistent demand, and now scaling engineering ahead of a seed round.

Small, experienced team with founders from Palantir and Google. High bar, low bureaucracy, and real ownership from day one.

You’ll be joining at the point where core systems are in place, but a lot still needs to be built and scaled properly.

Responsibilities

• Build and own backend services and APIs used in production
• Design and evolve data models and system architecture
• Work across the stack where needed, including frontend features
• Integrate and support AI-driven functionality within the product
• Improve performance, reliability and scalability of systems
• Contribute to technical direction, especially at senior and lead level

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience (mid to lead level)
• Backend strength in Python or similar
• Experience building and scaling production systems
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases and system design
• For fullstack, experience with React or Next.js
• Comfortable in early-stage environments with high ownership

Flexible salary depending on level and impact, no fixed bands
