Head of Sales

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale the sales organization for the Chinese /Asian market, and ensure continuity and smooth operation of the existing sales setup
• Define and execute the overall sales strategy for technical products and solutions in China / Asia
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of sales engineers and regional representatives in China /Asia
• Take full ownership of revenue targets, forecasting, and budget planning for the region
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and distributors
• Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and application areas
• Oversee complex negotiations and key account management at executive level
• Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, product management, and R&D
• Drive market intelligence activities, including competitor and regulatory analysis, and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable local requirements
• Representing the company at major industry events, trade fairs, and leadership meetings
• Assuming local management responsibilities in collaboration with the managing directors

Your Profile

• Degree in physics, engineering, business engineering, or a comparable field
• Proven track record in technical sales leadership, ideally in high-tech industries
• Strong experience in managing international teams, preferably with exposure to the Chinese market, and experience in setting up or refining local team structures would be an advantage
• Understanding of the Chinese business environment and intercultural leadership skills
• Fluent in English; Mandarin skills are a strong advantage
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful market entry and growth strategies
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
