Responsibilities

• Lead engineer responsible to technically manage delivery of the BESS projects
• Ensure all deliverables meet contractual ER and country-specific local compliance design impacts are addresed by engineering
• Oversee system design drawings (electrical, mechanical, civil, communications) for DC container, AC Skid incl. LV/MV Transformer, PCS and SCADA, ensuring alignment with BoP interfaces
• Support the Project Manager to develop project plans covering technical scope, schedule, resource allocation and progress tracking; proactively manage risks and critical paths
• Review engineering deliverables related to control systems (wiring diagrams, I/Os lists, control logic, communication interfaces)
• Review safety technical documentation (e.g. ERP, ESP, RAMS, HAZOP, HAZID)
• Review commissioning and system integration activities with commissioning team
• Support PCS and SCADA parameterization in line with project and grid requirements
• Assist with grid compliance and RTM testing with relevant stakeholders
• Act as the technical point of contact for internal stakeholders (PM, QHSE, RnD, Solutions team) and external parties (suppliers, EPCs, DSOs/TSOs) to ensure consistent communication throughout deployment
• Gather and communicate local market technical and regulatory requirements impacting supplied systems
• Drive contrinuous improvement of internal processes and cross-team structures

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or a related field
• Hands-on experience with utility-scale BESS, renewable energy or power system projects
• Experience in system integration, commissioning and testing of electrical systems (preferably BESS, PCS, SCADA)
• Solid understanding of battery systems (LFP), PCS functionality, control systems and communication interfaces
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes for BESS (e.g. IEC, NFPA, local grid codes) is considered as a plus
• Proven ability to coordinate projects and manage multiple stakeholders
• Structured and solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
• Fluency in English. Spanish and/or German is considered as a plus.
