Wedding & Event Assistant

We are looking for motivated, outgoing individuals to help our wedding team at The YES!

Our weddings take place on Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays and you have the freedom to pick when you work (it just needs to be at least two weddings/month). You will be working with an energetic team of 3-5 people and help the Wedding Coordinator with everything from setting up decor to coordinating vendors, the ceremony and much more.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup and tear down of all wedding decor
• Help prepare, open and tidy venue spaces as needed
• Help setup tables, chairs, arbors and other items as needed
• Assist with bridal party logistics & coordination of ceremony (processional/recessional)
• Interact with guests to provide directions and information(guest movement)
• Assist guests with any requests or questions

Requirements:

• Outgoing, energetic and people-oriented!
• Able to work independently but also take direction when needed.
• An interest in design and an eye for detail.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods of time.

Hours:

• Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• 10-hour shifts (1pm-11pm)
• Minimum two shifts/month

This position is for weddings located at The 1932 Barn in Charlotte, NC, The Abbey in Salisbury, NC, Uwharrie Vineyards in Albemarle, NC, The Cypress Pavillion in Gold Hill, NC, The Coach House in Mt. Pleasant, NC

Please note that this is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00/hr
