Main Responsibilites
- Licensing & Permitting: Lead the end-to-end application process for micro-mobility licenses in new target cities (with a focus on Northern Greece, including Serres, Katerini, and beyond).
- Institutional Liaison: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Greek Municipalities, Local Authorities, and Police Departments.
- Dossier Management: Prepare, submit, and track comprehensive technical dossiers and legal documentation required by local regulations.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of changes in Greek transportation laws and municipal cleaning/public space regulations to ensure hop’s 100% compliance.
- Stakeholder Strategy: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Mayors, Vice-Mayors of Mobility, and urban planners to position hop as the preferred mobility partner.
- Reporting: Monitor fleet performance via backend systems to report environmental impact and operational success to city councils.
- University degree in Politics, Communications, Law, Public Relations or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in public policy, government relations or legal consultancy within Greece. Experience in the mobility or tech sector is a big plus.
- Familiarity with the Greek Civil Code (AK) and administrative procedures related to public space usage.
- An existing network within Greek local government or public administration.
- Residing in Thessaloniki or having no restrictions on residing in this location.
- Having a valid driving license, able to actively drive and not have any travel restriction.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel/Google Sheets.
- Native-level Greek (essential for drafting legal agreements and municipal petitions) and professional fluency in English.
