- Work closely with Sales and IP cross-functional teams to identify and qualify business opportunities.
- Develop and execute business development strategies for the Mission Critical Segment in Europe.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and potential new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, offering insights to the team.
- Support the team in achieving business goals and contributing to the overall success of the segment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the telecom industry.
- Proven track record of successful business development and deal closure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies and solutions is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel as required for business development activities.
- Proficient level fluency in German and English is essential.
