Intermediate Information Services Developer
Indexed description
Our team is seeking an intermediate‑level developer who enjoys solving complex problems and translating loosely defined, non‑technical business workflows into scalable technical solutions. This role focuses on building and supporting Power Platform solutions—primarily Power Apps (Canvas apps) and Power Automate—to replace manual, Excel‑based, or paper‑driven processes. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with business partners, asking the right questions, and explaining technical limitations in plain language. Strong troubleshooting skills are essential, as the role involves debugging and maintaining applications built by others using APIs, connectors, and JSON‑based data. Overall, this person should have a “puzzle‑solver” mindset and take ownership of solutions from intake through production support.

Preferred:
- Experience with Power Apps (Canvas apps) preferred.
- Experience with Power Automate (workflow automation, approvals, and API-based flows).
- Proficiency with JSON for data exchange and workflow logic.
- Experience consuming REST APIs and working with external/internal integrations.
- Familiarity with connector-based application architectures and identity/permission management.
- Experience supporting applications in production environments, including diagnosing and resolving issues not originally developed by the individual.
