About The Team

This is a small, highly-collaborative team based in Stockholm. Engineers here have direct access to strategic product decisions and leadership. You’ll work closely with product, design, sales and customer success to take SimpleSign to the next level.

The Role — What You’ll Do

You’ll own product areas end-to-end and have a visible impact on customers and company outcomes. Typical responsibilities:

• Design, build and operate customer-facing features from discovery to production and monitoring.
• Work day-to-day with founder and CPTO to translate product strategy into shipped outcomes.
• Lead API, frontend and architecture decisions and introduce patterns that keep the codebase healthy.
• Mentor teammates and raise engineering standards in the team
• Build safe, measurable AI and agentic workflows that add clear user value and improve our internal workflows.
• Support demos, integrations and occasional technical sales conversations.

Broad Tech Overview (high Level)

We’re pragmatic and TypeScript-first — TypeScript experience is a plus but not mandatory.

• Frontend: React (v19), Vite, modern routing and server-state patterns.
• Backend: NestJS on Node, Prisma + PostgreSQL, Redis + queues for background processing.
• Realtime & Collaboration: Build low-latency collaborative experiences (multi-user editing, presence, sync).
• AI & Data: Customer-facing AI with LLMs, embeddings/vector stores and safe orchestration patterns.
• Cloud & Tooling: GCP, terraform, OpenAPI/Swagger for contracts, Docker/CI, observability and automated testing.

About You

• Several years building production web applications (full-stack or strong single-stack with willingness to work across the stack).
• Comfortable owning features end-to-end: API design, frontend UX, data models and production monitoring.
• Product-minded: you prioritise user outcomes and measurable impact over vanity metrics.
• Strong communicator: you’ll work directly with founder, CPTO and cross-functionally across teams.
• Curious about AI and agentic workflows — hands-on LLM/vector DB experience is a plus but eagerness to learn matters most.
• TypeScript experience is a plus but not mandatory.
