Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) at our Huntsville, AL location. The AGM will oversee daily hotel operations, including team management, scheduling, and performance monitoring. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, staff training, maintaining operational standards, and assisting in financial reporting to maximize profitability. The AGM will also ensure guests receive exceptional service and act as the direct contact for escalations and resolution to maintain the hotel's reputation for excellence.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management skills, including training, development, and performance evaluation
• Strong organizational and operational skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining service standards
• Marriott Full Service preferred
• F&B experience
• Customer service and problem-solving expertise, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
• Financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with staff and guests
• Flexibility to work on-site in Huntsville, AL, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Proven experience in hospitality, with a focus on full-service hotel operations preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial
