Job Description: Financial Controller (Swiss CPA) - Geneva

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance Group Co-Controller in reviewing and monitoring key financial movements to ensure accurate and complete information in Group financial statements.
  • Prepare specific areas of Group financial statements under IFRS, including disclosure notes.
  • Stay updated on technical accounting principles to ensure compliance with reporting requirements; implement new policies and procedures as needed.
  • Analyze Group balance sheet and P&L accounts.
  • Participate in monthly and year-end closings
  • Prepare for and participate in annual audits.
  • Review standalone financial statements (IFRS/Swiss CO/other).
  • Contribute to continuous development and improvement of the Group’s processes and procedures for timely and accurate financial information.
  • Collaborate with team members in Geneva and internationally as required.
  • Assist in ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by senior management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Swiss CPA is a MUST
  • Several years of experience in accounting, auditing, controlling, or consolidation functions, ideally within a Big 4
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel modeling with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS, consolidation process, and intercompany eliminations.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ownership mentality, results-oriented, proactive, flexible, and committed.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines during closing and reporting periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Full proficiency in English for business communication (verbal and written).
  • Salary range between 120k- 150k depending on experience
