Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Group Co-Controller in reviewing and monitoring key financial movements to ensure accurate and complete information in Group financial statements.
- Prepare specific areas of Group financial statements under IFRS, including disclosure notes.
- Stay updated on technical accounting principles to ensure compliance with reporting requirements; implement new policies and procedures as needed.
- Analyze Group balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Participate in monthly and year-end closings
- Prepare for and participate in annual audits.
- Review standalone financial statements (IFRS/Swiss CO/other).
- Contribute to continuous development and improvement of the Group’s processes and procedures for timely and accurate financial information.
- Collaborate with team members in Geneva and internationally as required.
- Assist in ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by senior management.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Qualifications:
- Swiss CPA is a MUST
- Several years of experience in accounting, auditing, controlling, or consolidation functions, ideally within a Big 4
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel modeling with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of IFRS, consolidation process, and intercompany eliminations.
- Entrepreneurial drive, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ownership mentality, results-oriented, proactive, flexible, and committed.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines during closing and reporting periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Full proficiency in English for business communication (verbal and written).
- Salary range between 120k- 150k depending on experience
