Business Development Manager
Our client is seeking a BDR (B2B) within the insurance industry. They are leading providers of credit insurance, bond and surety, collections, and information services, with a strategic presence in over 50 countries serving 240 million companies worldwide.
The Role:
- Develop the company's presence within the Irish market, structuring and closing credit insurance business with new direct clients.
- Manage the entire sales pipeline from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Prepare persuasive business proposals and deliver impactful presentations to key decision-makers such as Finance Managers, CFOs and Financial Controllers.
- You will present and negotiate credit insurance deals to ensure that this company is the credit insurer of choice.
- The role will initially be office-based, transitioning to hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days a week at home.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure client requirements are met and business solutions are viable and competitive.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- This will be an entirely B2B position.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a B2B sales role with experience in closing deals
- Experience in the Insurance, Credit, Financial Services industry
- A full Irish driving licence is essential
- You must also have full, permanent and immediate rights to work in Ireland
