IT Support Lead

My client a multinational organisation is on the lookout for an IT Support Lead on a permanent basis in Dublin.


The Job:

  • Lead a small IT Support team, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical support
  • Act as Incident Manager, overseeing end-to-end incident and escalation resolution
  • Deliver hands-on support across end-user computing, cloud services, business applications, and infrastructure
  • Ensure service desk tickets are prioritised and resolved within agreed SLAs
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Support IT projects, system upgrades, and continuous service improvements
  • Promote a security-first approach across access management, endpoints, and data handling
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures


Have You:

  • 5+ years' IT support experience, including 2+ years in a senior or team lead role
  • Experience managing service desk operations, incidents, and escalations in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands on experience with EntraID, Microsoft Azure, SIEM.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud services, end-user computing, and infrastructure
  • Experience using SQL for troubleshooting, reporting, or analysis
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices (incident, problem, and change management)
  • Experience leading or mentoring IT support staff and managing vendor escalations
  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with ITSM tools, Intune, monitoring tools, or Power BI (desirable)
  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.) (desirable)
  • ITIL or Microsoft certifications (desirable)
  • Full driving licence and access to transport (preferred)
