Head of Talent Acquisition
Sanderson is partnering with their leading client to recruit a Global Head of Talent Acquisition who will be responsible for shaping and delivering a global talent acquisition strategy that supports long term business growth and organisational capability.
This role operates at enterprise level, partnering with executive leadership to anticipate future workforce needs, identify talent risks, and ensure the organisation can attract and retain critical skills in competitive markets. It provides strategic direction across regions, setting standards and frameworks while enabling consistent and effective delivery locally. The role also plays a key part in executive hiring, succession planning and employer brand development.
Essential Duties
- Define and lead the global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring it aligns with business priorities and future capability needs.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on workforce trends, talent risks and emerging skill requirements.
- Design and implement a global operating model for talent acquisition, including governance, standards and performance measures across regions.
- Lead executive hiring and support succession planning by developing external pipelines for critical and leadership roles.
- Partner with HR leadership to translate business strategy into forward looking workforce plans.
- Own the talent acquisition technology and data strategy, ensuring systems and reporting support informed decision making.
- Define and manage the employer brand and talent attraction approach to position the organisation effectively in key markets.
- Embed inclusive hiring practices and support improved diversity outcomes across the business.
- Build and lead a high performing talent acquisition function, enabling regional teams through clear direction, structure and development.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in talent acquisition, including operating at a senior or global level across multiple regions.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing talent acquisition strategies and operating models at scale.
- Experience leading executive recruitment and supporting succession planning at senior leadership level.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence and advise executive stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of global labour markets, talent acquisition technologies and data led decision making.
- Comfortable operating in complex, high growth, multi region environments, with flexibility for international travel.
