Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Senior Engineer
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
- Setting out of all works and survey the site.
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential.
- Ensure all health and safety best practises are being followed at all times.
- Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site.
- Support Site Manager with day-to-day functions onsite.
- Management, monitoring, co-ordination and delivery of engineering functions.
- Manage the effective control and flow of all technical information required on the project.
- Manage submittals and RFI submissions from development to approval by the design team.
- Issue requisitions for materials plant to our purchasing department.
- Maintain the site diary / daily log activities.
- Monitor and control quality / work standards on site.
- Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a Main Contractor (commercial project experience desirable).
- Strong Setting Out/Levels experience.
- Full understanding of design drawings, and building regulations in Ireland.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of a team.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
- Safepass and Manual Handling required.
- Commercial awareness and sound judgment.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
