As a Junior Publication Ethics Assistant, you will support our Research Integrity specialists and managers in their daily tasks, including ethics case research, organizational support, and data reporting.

As part of our commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment, this role requires working fully on-site.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze data for ethics case management.
  • Prepare monthly reports and presentations for team meetings.
  • Conduct background research to support case investigations.
  • Monitor the Susy ethics case management system.
  • Participate actively in weekly team meetings and discussions.
  • You will communicate primarily in English, our corporate language.

Requirements

  • Student Status: Currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (C1); German is a plus
  • Technical Skills: Confident use of MS Office and digital tools for document management
  • Experience: Experience in academic publishing, research integrity or editorial tasks as well as handling of ethical issues is not required, but a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities, keen attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
