Designation – Content Editor (HigherEducation India)

Work Location – Marol, Mumbai

Work Mode – In-Office


Role Summary - The Content Editor at upGrad will ensure that all the content (documents, scripts, PPTs, etc) created meets the highest language quality standards.


Roles & Responsibilities -

● Editing, proofreading, and rewriting raw educational content in terms of language and grammar and ensuring it is in accordance with the in-house style guide

● Editing and proofreading large volumes of course content with consistent quality under stringent timelines

● Preparing training modules on simple as well as complex grammar topics

● Delivering grammar/language training sessions for the team of content editors / content strategists as and when required


Skills Required -

● Language Skills: An excellent command of the English language. Advanced knowledge of English grammar and punctuation, along with the nuances of US and UK English

Content Editing: Experience in editing and proofreading of different types of content The ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences

Understanding of eLearning Standards: Familiarity with best practices in eLearning content editing and proofreading and the ability to follow an in-house style guide

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate findings and suggest improvements effectively to the content development team

Time Management: Capacity to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
