The Role

As an IT Integration Solutions Developer at Honey Birdette, you’ll play a key role in connecting the systems that power our global retail and digital operations.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end development role where you’ll design, build and maintain integrations across our business. From analysing requirements and mapping data flows to coding, testing and deploying solutions, your work will directly impact how our platforms communicate and scale.

Working closely with both business and technology teams, you’ll help translate real-world needs into smart, reliable integration solutions. Whether it’s building APIs, improving data flows, or enhancing system performance, you’ll be at the center of keeping our ecosystem connected, efficient, and future-ready.

The Role

• Design, build and maintain integration solutions using Java or .NET (C#)
• Develop and manage API integrations across business systems (REST & SOAP)
• Build backend services using Python, Django and FastAPI
• Contribute to frontend components using TypeScript and ReactJS where needed
• Implement asynchronous processing and task queues using Celery and Redis Streams (Valkey)
• Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and data solutions (PostgreSQL)
• Translate business requirements into scalable, end-to-end integration solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders and architects on solution design and delivery
• Document system architecture, integrations and data flows
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes
• Test, debug and ensure the quality and reliability of all solutions
• Support deployments, releases and ongoing system improvements
• Contribute to best practices in coding, performance and maintainability
• Deploy and manage solutions across Linux environments and AWS cloud infrastructure

• 6+ years’ experience in software development (Java or .NET required)
• Proven experience building API integrations (REST & SOAP)
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL or SQL Server), including complex queries and performance optimisation
• Experience with Python and modern frameworks such as Django or FastAPI
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and Linux environments
• Ability to design and deliver end-to-end integration solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and detail
• Experience or exposure to AI/LLM-based tools or intelligent automation

• Retail or e-commerce experience (order management, inventory, omnichannel)
• Frontend development experience with TypeScript or ReactJS
• Experience with messaging/streaming tools (Redis, Kafka, etc.)
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools
