About the Role

Edgewater is seeking an Accounting & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our Costa Rica team. This is a full-time, on-site position located at Plaza Amara in San José. In this role, you will support core accounting and financial planning functions, including financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical support for strategic decision-making. You will work closely with finance professionals and clients while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship within a fast-growing global advisory firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting and month-end close processes
• Conduct financial analysis and variance reviews
• Assist in developing budgeting and forecasting models
• Provide data-driven insights to support financial planning and operational decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients on finance and accounting initiatives
• Contribute to client engagements and financial advisory projects

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with general ledger management and financial reporting tools is a plus
