- Supervise and lead the accounts payable team, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment disbursements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to accounts payable operations.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes for accounts payable.
- Manage vendor relationships, including resolving payment issues and negotiating terms.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., purchasing, finance, accounting) to ensure proper workflow and communication.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports and metrics for management review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.
- Prior supervisory or management experience in an accounting or finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, systems, and best practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications such as: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of NetSuite is a PLUS.

- While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move objects 10-50 pounds; they are frequently required to stand, walk, stoop. Kneel, crouch, or crawl; Occasionally required to sit and climb and balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
