We are looking for an Immigration Lawyer to support international clients with Portuguese immigration, residency, and citizenship matters. The role involves managing end-to-end immigration processes, communicating with Portuguese authorities, preparing legal documentation, and providing ongoing legal support throughout the client journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage immigration and residency applications, including Golden Visas (ARI), D Visas, residence permits, family reunification, and Portuguese citizenship processes.

• Prepare, review, and coordinate legal and supporting documentation related to immigration procedures.

• Act as legal representative before AIMA and other Portuguese authorities, including handling case follow-ups, clarifications, and additional documentation requests.

• Manage and monitor applications through the ARI portal and provide regular updates to Clients and internal stakeholders.

• Support Clients throughout immigration procedures, including appointments, document collection, and post-approval processes.

• Assist with related legal matters such as NIF/NISS registrations, legalization and apostille procedures, corporate documentation, and relocation-related legal support.

• Draft legal justifications, declarations, and other supporting legal documentation where required.

• Stay informed about developments in Portuguese immigration and related legislation and support internal legal and compliance processes.

Requirements

• Qualified Lawyer licensed to practice law in Portugal.

• Experience in Portuguese immigration law and residency procedures.

• Strong understanding of Golden Visa (ARI), D Visa pathways, AIMA procedures, and Portuguese citizenship processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with Clients, authorities, and internal teams.

• Experience working with international Clients is considered an advantage.
