Since 2023, FOGALE Sensors and Texys have formed a new group driven by a passion for innovation and a desire to tackle technological challenges.


For 25 years, Texys has been designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing sensors and solutions for physical measurements (pressure, force, temperature, speed, current, inertia) for both on-board and laboratory applications, historically for motor racing and now for all types of industry. Texys is recognised for its expertise in various technologies: infrared, fibre optics, strain gauges, wireless communication and signal conditioning. FOGALE Sensors and Texys have decided to join forces, with the aim of developing ever more innovative solutions, by creating new solutions in the field of metrology and human-machine interaction for even more accurate measurements.

Business Development Manager M/F

Industry - Aerospace / Key Accounts



The position is based in Heidelberg.


Role

Reporting to the country manager, you oversee the development of the client portfolio (in Germany and Eastern Europe).

You will lead and implement the account development and penetration strategy for assigned clients, in a context of new market conquest.

You nurture relationships with clients in the aeronautics, aerospace, automotive (manufacturers and suppliers), defense and medical sectors... enabling you to maintain and develop strong relationships from start to finish.


Main missions

  • Active acquisition of new customers in industrial sectors, with a focus on aerospace and high-performance environments
  • Conduct the necessary analyses and research to identify new prospects and detect potential opportunities as early as possible, and work with engineering and innovation to meet customer needs.
  • Design sales proposals with the technical teams, with a constant focus on their profitability.
  • Conduct negotiations until signature, in accordance with the company’s guidelines.
  • Commercial, technical and needs-based consulting for customers and prospects
  • Build an effective network of specifiers (OEM; agents, distributors) and create real business relays.
  • Ensure the reporting of its activity.



Profile

Higher technical training, you have significant experience in the B2B sale of technical solutions, ideally in electronics with a long-cycle approach to demanding industrial structures. You have been able to develop strong relationships with contacts such as the Research and Development departments, test center manager...


Your knowledge of one or more of our target markets will allow you to master the entire business process (prospecting, understanding needs).


Autonomous, you have a taste for work in transverse with the technical teams (R&D, engineering, pre-sales...).

Your curiosity, interpersonal skills and tenacity, combined with your experience in key account management and business development within an international environment, will enable you to balance professional achievement with personal fulfilment.


Confident in German and good to very good written and spoken English skills


Willingness to travel within Germany and neighboring countries
