Key Responsibilities
Client Consulting & Delivery
- Lead and deliver end-to-end procurement and supply chain consulting engagements for E&U clients, including EPC and capital projects.
- Advise clients on procurement transformation, category strategies, sourcing optimization, and operating model design.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, ensuring measurable business outcomes and long-term value realization.
- Partner with sales and product teams to design differentiated, value-driven solutions leveraging GEP’s platforms and consulting offerings.
- Lead solutioning for RFPs, proposals, and client workshops, translating client challenges into scalable, digital-first solutions.
- Support deal structuring, effort estimation, and value articulation for upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
- Drive business development activities within existing and new E&U accounts, identifying white spaces and growth opportunities.
- Own consulting-led upsell initiatives, helping expand GEP’s footprint across procurement, supply chain, and capital project spend.
- Contribute to thought leadership, client presentations, and industry discussions to strengthen GEP’s E&U market positioning.
- Mentor and guide consulting teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and capability development.
- Contribute to building E&U-specific consulting assets, frameworks, and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and alliances teams.
- Energy & Utilities: Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Utilities EPC environments.
- Direct Spend: EPC, capital equipment, electricals, mechanicals, construction, MRO, project procurement.
- Indirect Spend: Professional services, IT & telecom, facilities, corporate services, and other enterprise indirect categories.
Additional Compensation: Eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain consulting, with strong exposure to Energy & Utilities.
- Proven experience in EPC and capital project procurement environments.
- Hands-on experience across both direct and indirect procurement categories.
- Background in a leading consulting firm, procurement advisory, or digital procurement solution provider.
- Strong presales and solution design experience, including client-facing workshops and proposal leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to drive account growth, upsell initiatives, and business development activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation.
- Commercially savvy with a consulting-led sales mindset.
- Credible E&U domain expert who can engage confidently with CXO-level stakeholders.
