About This Opportunity
A group mentoring program that supports newcomer youth in their adjustment to Canada. The goals of the program are to foster connections amongst the group, to the country, and to the community, and offer fun and interactive ways to learn about Canada in a safe, inclusive space.
Program runs for one hour/week for an 8-week term, with 3 program terms per school year (fall, winter, spring).
Mentors will gain valuable experience working with children and youth and will make a positive difference in their lives. They will also build skills in program facilitation, leadership, education, collaboration, and communication.

- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Comfortable commuting to opportunity location
- 18 years or older
