What We’re Looking For
Remotely lead, support and coordinate mission-critical TVECS application system architecture & infrastructure sustainment activities to ensure operability at eight North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMCS)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Testing and deployment of application quarterly version upgrades as provided by software vendor.
- Performing quarterly server patching validation activities
- Troubleshooting/application support for planned and emergent events
- Ensuring IT compliance (cyber security, access control, obsolete)
- Support TVECS and connected-system changepoint activity
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of MS Windows operating environment (server 2016+, Windows 10+) and SQL database
- Understanding of information technology networking, architecture, security, account management, policy and webpage design.
- 3+ years of related experience in Engineering/Software Engineering.
- 2+ years of Project management experience in building plan, procurement service, scope control, and progress monitor.
- Experience with PLC IO and Data networks (ControlNet, Device Net, Ethernet/IP, FLNET).
- Ability to work cross functionally with local (North America) and overseas (Japan) manufacturing engineering teams and IT groups (network, firewall, security, account management).
- Ability to work weekends to support application management activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, works well with team environment, and can build consensus.
- Verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain with multiple levels within the organization.
- Strong organizational skill and ability to self-manage.
- Ability to visualize problems & solutions, work activity and project plans.
