Key Responsibilities
- Apply systems engineering principles to define system and software requirements for enterprise applications.
- Perform complex analysis and research involving financial and acquisition systems, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business and technical requirements, translating them into structured documentation.
- Develop process flows, workflow diagrams, and system interaction maps using tools like MS Visio to clearly communicate requirements.
- Lead Business Process Mapping and Analysis sessions to document current and future states of operations.
- Create detailed engineering design documentation that guides software development teams.
- Assist in the creation and execution of system test plans to validate functionality and performance of delivered solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between end users and technical teams to ensure all requirements are well-understood, documented, and implemented correctly.
- Conduct and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, user story workshops, and working group meetings.
- Monitor and manage risks, changes in scope, and project dependencies, delivering strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports and briefings to project stakeholders on requirements status, project health, and key deliverables.
- Lead pilot demonstrations and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts to validate end-user functionality.
- Must possess active DoD Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly or ability to obtain a CI Poly
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in systems/business analysis or related roles.
- Proven experience working on federal or IC programs, with preference given to candidates familiar with government acquisition and financial systems.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and validation processes.
- Strong understanding of IT systems design, development, and engineering documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
- Experience working in agileor hybrid environments with both government and contractor teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service
- Prior experience in a team leads or senior-level analytical role.
- Knowledge of business process management platforms.
- Familiarity with government acquisition and finance workflows.
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent for requirement tracking
