Job Summary

This position will support the Accounts Payable team with invoice processing, document management, and vendor master data maintenance activities. The individual in this role will assist with daily transactional tasks to help ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and supporting documentation.

This role is ideal for an individual seeking to gain hands on experience in a corporate accounting environment. The position will primarily work within SAP, DocuWare, and Microsoft Outlook.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and timely in SAP
  • Review invoices for required supporting documentation and approvals
  • Upload and maintain invoice documentation in DocuWare
  • Assist with vendor master data maintenance and updates
  • Monitor and organize shared Accounts Payable Outlook inboxes
  • Route invoices and inquiries to appropriate team members
  • Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with month end Accounts Payable activities as needed
  • Support the Accounts Payable team with administrative tasks and special projects

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior coursework or interest in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate systems including SAP and DocuWare
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of company information
