Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

About Mixed by Nasrin

Mixed by Nasrin is a direct-to-consumer women's fashion brand based in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. We design, produce, and ship our own collections. Our studio is the headquarters for design, operations, fulfillment, and content production. We are a small, dynamic, fast-moving team.

The Role

We are hiring an Operations Lead, Fulfillment to anchor day-to-day operations at our Brooklyn studio. This is a hands-on role at the center of our supply chain. You will own receiving, fulfillment, and inventory accuracy while taking on Operations Manager responsibilities including keeping inventory synced across systems, assisting with returns processing, and partnering with customer service to resolve order issues.

This role is designed for someone who wants to grow with a scaling DTC brand. We expect ownership and judgment, not just task execution.

Primary Responsibilities: Fulfillment and Receiving

• Receive all inbound shipments. Verify quantities against purchase orders, inspect goods for quality, and reconcile discrepancies with the operations team.
• Count, and inventory all incoming garments. Ensure every unit is logged accurately.
• Pick, pack, and ship 30 to 200 customer orders per day (highly seasonal) with accuracy and speed.
• Maintain warehouse organization. Ensure all stock is properly stored, labeled, and accessible at all times. Heavy lifting required.
• Own studio cleanliness and operational readiness.

Operations Responsibilities

• Keep inventory accurate and synced across all systems including Shopify, ShipStation, and Inventory Planner.
• During high volume periods, assist with processing customer returns and exchanges. Inspect returned goods, determine restock or disposition, and ensure system records reflect the action taken.
• Partner with the customer service team to investigate and resolve order issues, fulfillment errors, and shipping problems.
• Flag inventory, fulfillment, and process issues to the Head of Operations with proposed solutions.
• Lead inventory cycle counts and full physical counts.
• Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment speed, accuracy, and warehouse layout as order volume scales.

Who We Are Looking For

• 1 to 3 years of experience in ecommerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, or a related operations role. We will also consider strong entry-level candidates with a track record of ownership and reliability.
• Demonstrated attention to detail. You catch errors before they reach the customer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ShipStation, Shopify, and inventory management tools such as Inventory Planner.
• Prior experience in DTC, fashion, or apparel operations.
• Experience with returns processing and customer service workflows.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to commute to the Brooklyn Navy Yard 5 days per week.
