Role: Content Marketing Manager

Me, Myself & I is looking for a hands-on Content Marketing Manager to lead the execution of our marketing campaigns from start to finish for our 13th edition flagship experiential wellness event, taking place September 26.
This is a part-time contract role (20 hrs/week) running June 1 through October 2 — perfect for a seasoned marketer who thrives in fast-paced, event-driven environments and is passionate about wellness and community,
You'll own our content strategy, creation, and distribution across pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns, working closely with our Creative Strategist, Graphic Designer, and a Marketing Intern you'll directly supervise. This is a hybrid role — we ask that you join us in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What you'll do
- Develop and drive content strategy across all MM&I marketing channels and event campaigns
- Lead content creation and provide oversight on all marketing deliverables — ensuring quality, consistency, and on-brand execution
- Own content distribution across email, social, digital, and offline channels, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time
- Manage the event marketing calendar and full communication rollout strategy (pre, during, and post-event)
- Lead and update the event website, ticket hub, and attendee-facing communications
- Drive ticket sales initiatives and audience conversion strategies
- Develop and execute social media and digital content across MM&I platforms
- Manage Flodesk newsletters — setup, scheduling, and deployment
- Lead communication and deliverables with our external media buying agency; monitor ad performance, pacing, and campaign optimization
- Coordinate offline marketing and influencer campaign execution with the Creative Strategist
- Hire, onboard, and supervise the Marketing Intern; support community management alongside them
- Align with the Graphic Designer on assets, timelines, and content rollout needs
- Execute post-event content rollout and strategy
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing, event marketing, or a similar role
- Proven experience developing content strategy and managing multi-channel campaigns across email, social, and digital
- Strong content creation skills with an eye for brand voice, quality, and consistency
- Familiarity with Flodesk or similar email marketing platforms
- Comfortable working with media buying partners and interpreting ad performance data
- Strong project management skills — you keep timelines tight without being asked twice
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
