Job Title: Technical Developer – Power Platform (.NET Optional)

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Rate: $30/hr on T4

Employment Type: Contract (6 months, potential extension / full‑time conversion)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform to design and deliver business applications. This role focuses on building Power Apps solutions, working closely with business stakeholders (particularly in finance), and supporting enterprise systems through both low‑code and data‑driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power Apps applications (Canvas and Model‑Driven) to support business processes
• Develop and manage workflows using Power Automate
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business insights
• Translate finance/business requirements into scalable application solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver user‑friendly solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and performance across applications
• Support SQL databases and data models used by Power Platform solutions
• Provide application support and troubleshooting (L2/L3) as needed
• Participate in Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Proven experience building Power Apps applications end‑to‑end
• Strong understanding of business / finance processes (accounting, financial systems, ERP environments)
• Strong SQL and data modelling experience
• Experience working with Azure / cloud environments
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong communication skills with ability to work with business stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience working with SAP or ERP systems
• Experience with .NET / C# / Blazor
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
