In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Develop foundational project management capabilities by supporting clearly defined project tasks under the guidance of a general or functional manager.
- Provide administrative and logistical support that enables effective project team coordination and execution.
- Serve as a support resource across projects, building basic business knowledge and understanding effective project management practices.
- Assist in identifying, tracking, and collaborating to resolve project issues while strengthening the ability to manage these activities independently.
- Help monitor and communicate project statuses to the team, contributing to timely updates and improved project visibility.
- Support budget tracking, research activities, data analysis, and the development of project plans, timelines, and related documentation.
- Contribute to risk management efforts by learning to use quality tools to identify potential issues and support mitigation planning.
- Maintain accurate project notes, databases, and records while regularly communicating assignment and project status to the project manager.
- Effectively navigates complex information
- Prioritizes and aligns work to organizational goals, leveraging resources efficiently to drive successful outcomes.
- Ability to identify, assess, prioritize, and address project issues and risks, ensuring proactive mitigation and positive outcomes.
- Capability to manage project schedules using appropriate tools and processes to ensure work is completed within agreed timelines.
- Competence in managing project scope by defining, tracking, and controlling deliverables
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- College or equivalent degree preferred.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
