UTEX Industries is seeking a driven Sr. Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage customer relationships in the West Texas/New Mexico/Permian Basin Territory. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building connections, identifying opportunities, and closing deals while working closely with internal teams like Customer Service, Engineering, and Purchasing.

What You’ll Do

As a Sr. Outside Sales Representative Your responsibilities will include:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Prospect, negotiate, and close new business opportunities
• Conduct regular customer calls and in-person visits
• Identify customer needs and recommend the right products/solutions
• Grow existing accounts while developing new business
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer demands
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction post-sale
• Track sales activity, forecasts, and territory performance

• 2+ years of college or 6+ years of related experience
• Previous sales or account management experience
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn and understand technical products

You’ll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel-toed footwear are required.

Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel required up to 50% within assigned territory.
