.NET Tech Lead/Architect--banking background

Our client is a Middlesex County financial organization that is searching for a .NET Technical Lead/Architect with a prior background in banking. They are looking for a Technical leader with a background in .NET and deep expertise in banking platforms (cash management, treasury management, EFT, DDA, Wire transfers, real time payments, AML.)

**Fulltime position----client is unable to consider any candidate in need of work visa transfer or sponsorship (now or in the future). Onsite 3x a week.**

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, architect and develop banking solutions using the .NET languages, ensuring high availability, security, and alignment with governance standards.
• Leverage AWS services for application development, including database management, serverless computing, and cloud storage solutions.
• Architect and implement microservices using GraphQL and REST, adhering to modern microservices principles.
• Design, build, and test scalable APIs and platform services with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Act as primary liaison with the API management vendor.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy high-quality cloud-native services.
• Define and promote governance best practices for secure and efficient API development across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software design and development within a true banking environment (in a bank or banking SaaS)
• 4+ years in a Technical Lead/Application Architect role within a professional environment.
• Knowledge of API management platforms (e.g., WSO2, REST and GraphQL)
• Expertise in .NET enterprise architecture, integration, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
• Utilize expertise in scripting languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python to deliver robust software solutions.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Expertise in banking platforms and operations, including cash management, treasury management, EFT, DDA, Wire transfers, real time payments, AML.
• REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
