What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a seasoned marketing leader to join the Marketing team as the Associate Director of Go-to-Market (GTM). In today’s dynamic market, success hinges on delivering a unified and impactful customer experience. The GTM team is the driving force behind this vision. We ensure alignment across all channels, tactics, and campaigns to maximize marketing ROI and drive measurable business growth for a group of telecommunications brands.
The Associate Director of Go-to-Market (GTM) is responsible for leading end-to-end (E2E) marketing strategy, execution, and performance to deliver breakthrough brand and product storytelling. This role connects with customers at critical points in their journey using intentional, strategic tactics that drive measurable business impact across the portfolio. This person is critical to translating business impacts into a marketing storyline.
This is a high-impact, highly visible role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the prepaid telecommunications landscape. What you’ll be doing:
- Brand Marketing Strategy: Set the key pillars for each brand that allow it to stand out in a crowded marketplace, rooted in product truths and competitive advantages.
- Quarterly Priorities: Translate macro impacts, business pressures, and portfolio strategy into actionable quarterly priorities that will identify upcoming campaigns and the level of marketing support required.
- Communication Frameworks: Build overarching communication frameworks to balance a nuanced full funnel approach.
- Brief Development: Author high-level marketing briefs that inform partner teams' message prioritization, audience strategy, resource prioritization, and any key leadership expectations.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the transition of ideas from product concepts through tactical planning and toolkit development to final campaign launch by coordinating across many functions (Public Relations, Performance Marketing, Creative, Paid Media, Social, Base Marketing, E-commerce).
- Analysis & Optimization: Review launch marketing results and ongoing performance across all sales channels to lead optimizations with respective teams.
- Stakeholder Storytelling: Present campaign strategies and performance updates to senior marketing leadership and other business functions.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or eight or more years of work experience
- Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills with experience in marketing intake systems and navigating legal approvals
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot strategies based on shifting market conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to ground marketing work within specific business needs and pressures
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional marketing teams and align diverse stakeholders towards a unified GTM plan
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Master’s degree – better if you have an MBA
- A deep technical understanding of the marketing tools, technologies and practices needed to shape the marketing landscape
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting
- Experience with performance marketing, paid media, or any marketing channel activation
- Passion for digital marketing, new technologies and constantly evolving our approach to marketing
- Telecommunications experience
