Manager, Commercial Sales (Based in Tokyo)

What you can expect

Zoom is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager in Tokyo to oversee the Commercial and Majors AEs in Japan. You must possess excellent leadership and customer relationship skills to effectively guide and lead the team. This role is crucial in driving a data-driven and performance-driven team, ensuring they achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth in Japan.

What we're looking for

  • Have an understanding of Japan's mid-market/commercial/Majors business landscape and experience working in a high-speed growth environment.
  • Have native proficiency in Japanese and business level in English
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of people management experience and 10-15 years of direct B2B sales experience.
  • Have used data and metrics to drive decision-making and improve sales performance.
  • Have demonstrated success in motivating teams, managing underperformance, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Have exhibited excellent collaboration and relational skills, with excellent verbal skills and consultative professional business acumen.
  • Have good Internet research skills with excellent PC literacy [Google Spreadsheet, Google Slide, Excel, PowerPoint]
