As a Senior Sales Specialist for Control, Protection, and Telecommunications, you will join a high-performing team dedicated to the power grid's infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise to help clients optimize their operational technology through specialized services, maintenance, and systems integration.
You will manage a strategic portfolio of regional and national accounts, working alongside engineering experts to develop compelling, tailored technical proposals. This is a premier opportunity to drive business impact and represent Hitachi Energy in a competitive market, focusing on SCADA, protection relays, and utility communications.
How you'll make an impact
- Strategic Sales: Lead the sale of specialized services and maintenance solutions for Control, Protection, and Telecommunication systems.
- Account Management: Manage and grow high-priority accounts at a regional and national level, serving as the primary strategic contact.
- Consultative Advisory: Conduct technical assessments of the installed base to recommend upgrades and solutions that align with the client's grid reliability needs.
- Proposal Leadership: Coordinate the end-to-end preparation of complex bids and technical proposals, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Independent Execution: Manage sales processes independently, solving difficult problems and navigating complex negotiations with limited supervision.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and review the work of junior professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field (Mandatory).
- Experience: Proven senior-level experience in sales or business development within the Power Sector or heavy industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Substation Automation, Protection & Control, and SCADA systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business value.
- Language: Intermediate English is required; Intermediate Spanish is a plus.
- Availability: Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Work Model: Hybrid (1 day per week at the office).
