About the Role

Our California Division in Huntington Beach seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to join our innovative Engineering team. This position plays a key role in improving existing manufacturing processes, integrating automation, and supporting daily operations through machining process development, new equipment setup and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Do

• CNC Programming: Create CNC programs for mills (vertical, horizontal and 5 axis) and lathes for new parts and improve the machining strategy for existing parts
• Integrate Machinery: Incorporate new machinery and equipment into the production process seamlessly
• Setup & Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on setup and resolve issues with manufacturing and automation equipment
• Fixture Design: Create fixtures for CNC machining and CMM inspection
• Drive Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to manufacturing methods, equipment, and operating procedures, with a focus on CNC machining and automation
• Continuous Improvement: Support team leaders and members in evaluating and implementing ongoing improvement projects

What You Bring

• Technical Skills:
  • CNC programming experience, ideally with Mastercam
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with controls, industrial robotics, conveyor systems, and PLC programming is valued
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 3 years of manual machining experience
  • 3+ years of CNC machining and programming experience
  • EDM expertise (a highly valued plus)
  • 5-axis CNC machining expertise (a plus)
