I'm working with a well-established Ohio-based private equity firm looking to add a PE Associate to their investment team in Columbus. They focus exclusively on middle-market investments and have built a real reputation for partnering with entrepreneurs and management teams to grow great businesses. This isn't a "plug into a process" role. You'll be in the room where it happens.

What You'll Be Doing:

The day-to-day is a solid mix of deal execution and portfolio work. Think financial modeling, industry and company research, due diligence, investment memos, and IC presentations. You'll also support portfolio monitoring, quarterly valuations, and add-on acquisitions, plus pitch in on sourcing and sector research with the BD team. Senior enough to mentor analysts and interns, junior enough that there's still plenty of runway ahead of you.

What They're Looking For:

• 2-3 years in PE, investment banking, commercial banking, business valuation, or transaction advisory
• Strong financial modeling and analytical chops
• Solid accounting and finance fundamentals
• Ability to juggle multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
