What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
- Work from detailed programming specifications, design, modify, develop, write and implement software-programming applications.
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
- Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.
- Provide resolution to a fundamental problem or seize an opportunity that improves the satisfaction of a customer, user or provider.
- Explain the financial impact of a solution or a decision to assist customers in complying with budget requirements.
- May provide guidance to less experienced Software Analysts.
Implement planned upgrades/improvements to MES
Lead technology project teams in the manufacturing space
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a technical or business discipline. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, and understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with the stages of software development, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Understanding of software testing processes, including test case review, analysis, and participation in test witnessing and certification.
- Ability to identify and resolve basic software issues or bugs.
- Excellent communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Salary: $94,000 - $127,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
