About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunt, identify and secure predominantly new commercial business opportunities across your territory, driving new revenue through a mix of face-to-face meetings and proactive outreach.
  • Generate a consistent pipeline through networking, referrals and targeted market engagement
  • Engage prospective clients to understand their needs and present tailored, value-driven solutions
  • Prepare compelling proposals and deliver confident, professional presentations
  • Negotiate and close deals while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Own your sales pipeline end-to-end, from prospecting and follow-up through to conversion and long-term relationships
  • Grow revenue with existing clients while continuously opening new accounts
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless handovers and a strong customer experience


Required Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales or new business acquisition
  • A strong hunter mindset with proven ability to convert opportunities and close deals
  • Confident and credible communicator with the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment
  • Exposure to commercial painting or painting-related environments is considered an advantage·
