TORI ALLEN is a creative studio specialising in events and experiences that bring people together. Established in 2013 as a floral atelier, the company has grown into a full-service studio with expertise in event planning, creative direction, styling, floral design, and more.
Based in Melbourne, Tori Allen is renowned for its collaboration with private and corporate clients, suppliers, and partners across Australia. The team is dedicated to delivering exceptional events from large-scale public activations and shopping centre launches, to brand activations and product launches, corporate events, and bespoke styling for private clients.
What we are looking for:
- A designer with a strong and refined design sensibility, that has a clear creative point of view.
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in a relevant design role.
- Formal training or industry experience in Graphic Design, Interior Design, or a combination of both.
- Ability to interpret creative direction and translate it into engaging, functional design solutions.
- Confident in presenting to clients.
- Ideally this is a full time role, however we are open to part time candidates.
Role description:
This position plays a key part in shaping the visual direction of our events and activations. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering design outcomes across branding, signage and spatial environments. You will be working closely with both the Creative Director and Event Producer to bring ideas from concept through to execution. You will:
- Conceptualise and design to a brief, the look and feel of the event/activation, branding assets, signage and spatial layouts.
- Create visually engaging and clear mock-ups of your design.
- Create accurate floorplans to scale.
- Collaborate with team members to produce designs realistic the the budget, while keeping on trend and to the brief.
- Manage multiple projects at one time in a fast paced environment.
Key requirements:
- Strong proficiency in graphic design and visual communication.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficient in using SketchUp (not a must but preferred).
- Highly detail-focused with excellent time management and organisational discipline.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a dynamic, on-site, studio-based environment.
