About The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing Development team delivering critical infrastructure that shapes growing communities. As Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role across the full lifecycle of development, from planning and design through to construction, ensuring high-quality, sustainable outcomes. You will make an impact by
- Leading the Development (Engineering & Landscape) team to deliver quality outcomes across subdivision and development projects
- Providing expert engineering advice on development approvals, drainage, access, and landscape assessments
- Collaborating with internal teams, developers and consultants to resolve complex technical issues
- Overseeing assessment and approval of engineering designs and ensuring compliance with standards and legislation
- Driving a customer-focused, high-performing and continuous improvement culture within the team
- Registered Professional Engineer under the Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) with substantial experience in subdivision and development engineering
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, supervise and develop engineers and technical staff
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated experience in development approvals, including drainage, civil works and landscape assessments
- Sound knowledge of planning schemes, standards, and relevant Local Government legislation
- Ability to make informed decisions independently and manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail
