Strategy & Transformation Manager

PE-Backed EdTech Scale-Up | Melbourne Hybrid

Are you a top-tier consultant ready to move from advisory into execution?

I’m partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed EdTech business that is scaling rapidly across Australia and international markets. This is a rare opportunity to join the strategy function at group level, working directly with senior leadership on the initiatives that shape the next phase of growth.

This is not a back-office strategy role.

You’ll be close to the Executive Leadership Team, supporting Board-level priorities, M&A, market expansion, transformation, and CEO-sponsored strategic projects.

The role will suit someone who enjoys structured problem-solving but wants to see their recommendations turn into real commercial outcomes.

What you’ll work on:

• Evolving the 5-year strategic roadmap

• Supporting M&A activity, from target screening through to due diligence and integration

• Leading high-priority cross-functional projects

• Preparing Board papers and executive-level strategy materials

• Helping translate PE-backed growth ambitions into operational reality

The ideal background:

• 2–4 years’ experience from MBB, Tier 1 consulting, or a high-performing in-house strategy team , along with exposure to a start up environment

• Operating in AI and using it daily

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Interest in B2B SaaS, EdTech, and PE-backed growth environments

• Commercial curiosity around metrics

• An ownership mindset: someone who can move from insight to action
