Main Duties:
Daily cash reconciliation, banking and reporting of same to management
Monitoring and reconciliation of hotel system
Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of bank
The ability to identify and resolve issues and variances that arise
All aspects of credit control
Maintaining internal reports and adhering to monthly deadlines
All other duties within the accounts department as required by General Manager and Head Office
This role is for you if you have:
Experience in a similar role within a hospitality environment. This would be a distinct advantage
Previous experience with cash management
Understanding of the credit control function
Excellent attention to detail
Strong knowledge of Excel
Ability to work under pressure and meet various deadlines on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
A positive, can-do attitude
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers
