Technical Office Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Senior Technical Office Engineer for discussion and proper solve.
• Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
• Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction with the Senior Technical Office Engineer.
• Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals.
• Review the BOQ base on the project specification.
• Prepare Subcontractors’ invoices. (For small size projects)
• Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
• Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• 0–1 years of experience in construction projects.
• Good knowledge of shop drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
