Lead Application Architect

Job Duties:

• Engage in major projects and highly complex demand processes of applications, enabling innovative and efficient solutions, creation and/or reviewing of architectures supporting roadmaps and plans,

• Support Enterprise Architects in formulating and sharing standards, guidelines, and implementation patterns which guide projects and demands execution.

• Define, implement, and evolve strong underpinning practices, guidelines, and frameworks that are required to continually improve the quality of technical solutions that are delivered.

• Generate and/or adjust High level architecture for solutions within the team.

• Handle Architecture Exceptions, Approves the decisions and record Architecture Decisions within centralized registries.

• Supervise the reflection of Architecture Changes into centralized architecture inventory of current and future applications, systems, and identify affected and related configuration items.

• Supervise analysis of technologies within team’s scope and manage Technology references and long-term technology adoption practices,

• Research next generation technologies to ensure architecture requirements meet future business aspirations.

• Analyze the current technical architecture sets to identify risk, opportunities for improvements and standardization and enable flexible, agile, and scalable technology platforms and build standards

for common technologies.

Business and Soft Skills

• 4+ years Working Experience of Banking and Financial Services industry.

• Previous banking and/or Fintech experience is preferable.

• Ability to use industry reference models including BIAN.

• Understanding of main cybersecurity frameworks, its requirements.

• Awareness of CBE mandates and regulations on KYC, payments, and Cloud

• Integrating Architecture with related IT streams including Strategy, Governance, ITSM, ITAM, …etc.

• High Communication, People management and Collaboration Skills.

• Requirement Analysis and Business Case Development.

• Business Transformation Leadership

• EA Alignment and Executive Stakeholder engagement

Technical Skills

• 11+ years of overall IT Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Solution Architecture

• 5+ years of experience in one or more Software Development Lifecycle Activities

• Architecture Modeling using UML and ArchiMate using MS Visio or similar Tools, familiarity with BPMN and similar notations

• Advanced Solution Design and Complex Integration Planning

• Data Management, Analysis and Insights using MS Excel, MS Power BI, …and similar toolsets.

• Working experiece with one or more Architecture Management or Application Portfolio Management Tools (Hopex, Alfabet, Bizzdesign, Abacus, leanIX …ETC) is highly preferrable

• Familiarity with Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, Zackman, …etc)

• Familiarity with main Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP …) and awareness of Cloud Security Framework(s) and its requirements
