Vice President of Finance

Established and rapidly growing CPG company is looking to add to its executive leadership team by bringing on board a Vice President of Finance to own the finance and corporate accounting role. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer with interaction with Board, Private Equity investors, and other leadership team members.

Strong comp package including base, bonus and equity.

Hybrid role in North Miami.

Seeking a hands-on, VP of Finance to lead the accounting and finance function for a high growth CPG company that is scaling quickly. Must be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment but with a company that has a clear path forward. This is an opportunity to put in controls, be a strategic partner, and participate in the success of the company as it is laser focused on an exit in 3 years.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA required; MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong experience in manufacturing finance, including operations support and shop floor financial controls.
• Extensive knowledge of cost accounting practices, inventory valuation, and standard costing methods. Experience maintaining and improving standard cost systems and collaborating with purchasing and operations teams on cost updates.
• Proven track record in private equity-backed environments is highly desirable, particularly in serving as a key liaison with financial sponsors.
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to execute tasks directly and lead by example.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting, GAAP, banking, and cash management.
• Demonstrated leadership at the enterprise level, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
