ABOUT THE ROLE

You will support project management and program management engagements under senior consultant direction — helping run the work plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication that keep complex utility programs moving. The role is hybrid, anchored in the Bay Area.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support project management, program management, and resource planning tasks under senior staff direction
• Contribute to work plan, schedule, and budget development; help analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule, and costs to internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze project scope, cost, schedule, contracts, resources, changes, and risks; track and report variances with attention to detail
• Perform data management and analytics in Power BI and Excel; prepare status reports and supporting documentation
• Support change control and project risk tracking processes
• Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors under senior staff direction; contribute to project information flow through meetings, written updates, and clear documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve procedures, processes, documentation, and reporting as you build subject-matter familiarity
• Learn under senior staff and pursue professional growth across Reinrock's service lines

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, Finance, or related field — or equivalent experience (advanced degrees or certifications a plus)
• 2+ years in project management, program management, work and resource planning, project controls, or related construction or utility consulting work
• Strong analytical and critical thinking; experience in data management
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external clients
• Proficiency with Power BI and Microsoft Excel; exposure to Excel VBA, Python, or R preferred Proficiency with AI productivity and agentic tools — we expect our consultants to build with AI, not around it
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage time across concurrent assignments

COMPENSATION

$31–$50 per hour (~$65,000–$105,000 annually), based on experience and qualifications.
