ABOUT THE COMPANY
Sea Salt Marketing works exclusively with residential builders across Australia, New Zealand and the US. We run digital marketing for a range of builder clients — and paid media is at the core of what we deliver. Our clients are builders who want consistent leads, clear reporting, and a team they trust.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is the executional engine of our performance marketing team. You'll be the person who sets campaigns up correctly, monitors them closely, catches issues before they become client problems, and keeps the day-to-day running smoothly across a busy portfolio of builder clients.
You'll work directly alongside our Paid Ads Specialists and take direction on strategy — but you'll own the execution. That means campaigns are live when they're meant to be live, budgets are tracking correctly, and nothing slips through the gaps.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building and launching Meta and Google Ads campaigns across a portfolio of builder clients — from audience setup and ad creation through to pixel and tracking verification
- Daily and weekly campaign monitoring — flagging spend anomalies, underperforming ads, or tracking issues before they become client problems
- A/B testing ad creative and copy in collaboration with the design team
- Pulling campaign data and contributing to monthly client reports — your numbers need to be accurate and clearly framed
- Maintaining campaign hygiene across all active accounts — naming conventions, budget pacing, audience lists, negative keywords
- Supporting the the team on new client onboarding — setting up accounts, establishing tracking, launching initial campaigns
- Keeping a close eye on lead quality alongside the account managers — flagging when volume is up but quality is down
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
MUST HAVE
- 2–4 years of hands-on paid media experience, ideally in an agency
- Solid working knowledge of Meta Ads — campaign structure, audiences, ad formats, reporting
- Working knowledge of Google Ads — search campaigns, responsive ads, conversion tracking
- High attention to detail — you notice the typo in the ad and the budget that's off-pace
- Organised and reliable — manage multiple campaigns across multiple clients without dropping the ball
- Clear written communication — you'll be contributing to client-facing reports
- Familiarity with AI tools for research, copy assistance or reporting
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with lead generation campaigns specifically
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking setup
- Experience in real estate, construction or home services
- Exposure to Agency Analytics or similar reporting tools
- Interest in growing into a more senior strategic role over time
- Comfortable working in a small, close-knit agency team
- Experience using AI to speed up campaign builds or data analysis
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE — FIRST 90 DAYS
- You know every active campaign in the portfolio, what it's trying to achieve, and where it currently sits against target
- Zero campaigns have gone live with incorrect tracking, blown budgets or unreviewed creative on your watch
- You've flagged at least one issue proactively before a client or account manager noticed it
- You're contributing accurate, clearly labelled data to monthly reports without needing to be chased
- The Senior PPC Strategist trusts you to hold the fort when they're in client meetings or strategy work
GROWTH PATHWAY
This role is structured with room to grow. As you build your understanding of the builder industry and our client base, there's a clear pathway toward more strategic responsibilities — direct client relationships, channel strategy, and eventually a Senior Strategist level. We promote from within where we can and we'll tell you clearly what that looks like from day one.
